Sammy Hagar is responsible for the title ( as quoted in a recent INC Magazine article). For Those who don't know who Sammy is, he is the former lead singer of several rock bands including Van Halen, owns restaurants and recently sold his tequila business.
Sammy has it right, and he always has more then one thing going just in case...so should all of us.
For me it's been teaching as an adjunct and presenting at national HR conferences. 10 yrs. ago I would have never thought of preparing a fork in the road. today I am glad I have...to many of us rest on our laurels and think it will last forever...and guess what?
Nothing lasts for ever...so get a plan and start working it!
